Crumb Cake Ingredients:

1 stick margarine

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

3 tsp. baking powder

2/3 cup milk

1 cup chocolate chip morsels

Crumbs Ingredients:

1 stick margarine

1 cup flour

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

For crumbs, mix all ingredients together with hands. You will sprinkle cumbs on cake later on in the recipe.

Directions:

1. Cream the margarine until soft. Add sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well.

2. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix well. Then add chocolate chips and use a wooden spoon to mix in. (Don’t use a mixer, once the chocolate chips are in.)

3. Pour batter into a greased (use a little margarine) 9 x 13 x 2 pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

4. After 10 minutes remove cake from oven. Sprinkle the crumbs on top of the cake. Return cake to the oven for an additional 15-18 minutes. (Test cake with a toothpick to see if done.)

5. Let cake cool for an hour and sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
